No rice for 5 days! (June 24-June 28)

So I'm giving up rice for the week (work week that is).  It's gonna super hard cause even thought I'm not a rice fan it's still a great (tummy) filler. My objective this week: find other fillers.  I bought cauliflower cause I wanted to try making cauliflower rice. Turns out the food processor I thought I had was actually a juice extractor. Bummer!

But wait.....  I "Googled" how to make cauliflower rice without a food processor and got some great info on alternatives.  So now I'm gonna buy me some more cauliflower and give this "rice" a shot.

Changes I'm making

So I've revised my workout schedule and now I'm down to four or five days a week.  I was talking to my neighbour re working out 6 days a week and he suggested that may be too much seeing that I'm just starting out (again) and I've got other things going on in my life. He further said that striving for so much tends to leave you disappointed especially when you don't achieve the desired workout sessions.  This results in no workout session at all.  So I'm down to 5 days a week and I've created a schedule. Toning is paramount to me, then losing weight whilst eating properly.

Lately it's been so hard to do.  My job has gotten so hectic but I must find time.  Wish me luck!

Finally.......

This is my third foray into this whole weight loss exercising adventure.  In the past I usually would exercise and eat right for a time after losing the desired weight.  After which I would resume my normal activities, that is, eating what I want and not exercising at all.  Well I decided after the last weight gain which saw me weighing the most in my life I decided to take drastic action.   This time would not just be about losing the weight but rather losing the weight, maintaining the weight loss and the healthy lifestyle adopted.
So I've gotten started. Officially May 27, 2013, I made decision that I would see this through for the rest of my days.  I hope to cut my fast food addictions, curb my sugar cravings, my chips craving, reduce the fat (& I love me some French fries!) and the other undesirables out of my diet. I made the commitment to reduce my juice intake and increase my water intake.  It will be hard cause I love juice A LOT!!   Anyway it is now June 14 and I have lost 6 pounds so far.  My initial desire is to lose 25 pounds and I've got only 19 pounds left.  My official desired weight is 138 but I’ll settle for 140 pounds.
I try to work out at least six days per week.  It is hard to do especially work and other demands on my time but it must be done in order to achieve my goal.  My hope is that when I lose this weight I will reduce my weekly exercise routine from 6 days to 3 or 4 days and continue to maintain my healthy lifestyle.
